Ladyhawke (a.k.a Pip Brown) is a twenty-something soon to be international sensation that kicks out the serious dance jams. Originally from New Zealand, then Sydney, and now residing in London, her hype train is now barrelling through America at 88 mph, blowing the minds and butts off all those cool USA kids that worship the entire Modular Records catalog (The Presets, Cut Copy, Klaxons, and on and on).

So you know what this sounds like; synth-y, bass-y, electro-y, and a whole mess of beats. It's not like you haven't heard this before (it's dance music, for goodness sake), but when her single "Paris is Burning" is played at any public establishment that has a decent sound system, you will want to drop your drink, hop on the bar, and do something embarrassing. Or better yet, just go see Ladyhawke live. Let her handle it.

Oh yeah, don't confuse Ladyhawke with the band Ladyhawk. They are VERY different.
