Plastic Little makes rap fun again.

January 17, 2007
Philadelphia's four-piece hip-hop crew Plastic Little rocks some seriously funny rap. Like Spank Rock, these guys are dirty, hilarious and have hooks and beats that are entirely addictive. Plus, their influences are diverse. They got the mighty Ghostface Killah to lend his flow to their track "Crambodia," but Plastic Little have also covered The Cure's "Close to Me" (with updated lyrics that would definitely make Robert Smith cry, either in laughter or in horror) and have sampled The Smiths and PJ Harvey in their songs. These guys certainly march to the beat of their own drum machine, and have the talent to draw the fans of several music genres.

Plastic Little play The Empty Bottle, on Friday, January 26th.
