London's Boy 8 Bit is David Morris, who at 27 would be a stretch to call a boy. Anyway, he creates completely sick electro dance jams using his computer (no longer his video game console, as his name suggests). Besides writing original songs that make the kids go sweaty, he's done club-acclaimed (and artist-approved) remixes of bands like The Black Ghosts and Burial.

Boy 8 Bit is currently (as of September 2008) on tour with Diplo. Live, he'll do the standard DJ stage thing of twiddling over some knobs and boisterously pressing some buttons, but you probably won't be looking much at him. You'll be twisting. For fans of the trio of usual electro-dance suspects (Digitalism, Justice, Simian Mobile Disco).
