Yard Act is a rising angular post-punk band from Leeds.

They are buzzy in Britain already, but their sick stabby jabby guitars and sharp sense of humour are starting to be heard on the other side of the Pond as well.

Actually, you can go see them play their first USA shows very soon (depending on when you read this).

And then you can say you saw them when they were "just starting out" to someone you want to impress.

Because that's what it's all about. Impressing your mates, yeah?
