((White Monkey)) Band Profile and Upcoming Chicago Concerts - Oh My Rockness

White Monkey is the surreal one-man band/project of Blasco. You may have seen Blasco at such intimate venues as Radio City Music Hall and Roseland as Interpol's touring keyboardist. But White Monkey sounds nothing like those fabulously famous Brooklyn lads. This is computer induced "futuro-rock" that Blasco himself describes as "music playing in the lounge of a space station." When I listen to this, I imagine electronic robots dancing on stage for the ghost of Serge Gainsbourg under a flood of pink and purple lights.
