((Now It's Overhead)) Band Profile and Upcoming Chicago Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Now It's Overhead are a Saddle Creek collective that's steered primarily by singer/instrumentalist Andy LeMaster (of Bright Eyes) with additional support from Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor (of Azure Ray). LeMaster writes moody, layered pop songs supported by ethereal keys and forlorn electric guitars. There's some shoegazing going on here. Think Cursive meets The Cure.

Since forming in 2001, Now It's Overhead has released three albums and toured with bands like Rilo Kiley, The Faint and even opened for R.E.M. As you know, before anyone did anything, R.E.M. did everything. Oh wait, that was Elvis.
