Once upon a time ago, Mike Pace was in Oxford Collapse, a band I considered to be one of the best / most underrated* indie rock bands of the '00s. They put out multiple really good records and if you missed any of them please remember the golden rule, 'it's never too late to get into something great.'

Anyway, ten years after I wrote this profile on Oxford Collapse (10 years!) here I am writing about Mike Pace again because he just released a new EP as "Mike Pace and the Child Actors" and it's SOLID.

(track #1 is right up there w/ Passion Pit in 'reach for the rafters' pop bombast)

*although Oxford Collapse's final album was on Sub Pop -- so that's pretty rated, I guess
