((Hurry)) Band Profile and Upcoming Chicago Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Written by Patrick McNamara

Hurry is a power pop band from Philadelphia. Their songs are super sticky and solid and I promise if you give them a strong listen you'll be singing along to this goodness in no time. So help me blob.

This was originally the solo creative pursuit of songwriter/super good singer Matthew Scottoline (see also: Everyone Everywhere) but Hurry soon turned into the fearsome pop threesome that it is today thanks to Joe and Rob Decarolis.

The band released their debut full-length album “Everything/Nothing" in 2014 A.D. and it's good! You should totally listen to it whenever you're ready to listen to good albums from 2014 A.D.

But let's inch closer to the present day, because as of this writing (12:09pm in The Year That I'm Writing This A.D.) Hurry has a brand new three song EP out. It's called “Guided Meditation" and guess what? It's good!

Listen to it below if you like super sticky solid singalong power pop songs (you do) and then after you're done loving it you can buy the real thing via Lame-O Records (home to: Modern Baseball, The Superweaks, The Pooches, Thin Lips and more good bands).

Stream now and have fun singing along to this real soon.
