((Home Video)) Band Profile and Upcoming Chicago Concerts - Oh My Rockness

Warp's Home Video plays electro-synth indie pop, relying on soft vocals (ultra reminiscent of Thom York) and subtle beats (similar to Junior Boys or Boards of Canada) to generate crossover appeal. You don't have to like IDM or even Warp Records to like Home Video. But you do have to like downbeat stuff.

There will be no "attacking" or "pummeling" at a Home Video show, just smooth synth-heavy grooves that take a long time to make their point. But if you have patience for cerebral sparseness, and strong legs to support the strain of standing through subtlety, then you could very well be compelled, and even pushed to the brink of hypnotism, at a Home Video show.
