Oh My Rockness

Epsilons take their name from "Brave New World" where the Epsilons are the least capable individuals of the population. In other words, the people stuck doing the shitty jobs. This rambunctiously explosive garage band doesn't appear to have the usual band ego issues if they identify themselves with society's bottom rung. However, these four teenagers from the sunny O.C. make music that is anything but incompetent.

This is killer lo-fi punk that's just like the good old days of Richard Hell, MC5 and The Heartbreakers. Epsilons' quick songs feature vocal blasts and a steady diet of muddled strumming and whiplash pummeling. Their latest album is out now on the always excellent Retard Disco Records (Gravy Train!!!, Partyline, Bark Bark Bark).
